Working Towards Racial Justice Through Research, Scholarship and Creative Work
We facilitate cutting-edge interdisciplinary research, scholarship and creative works promoting equality and equity in historically underrepresented communities on issues of inequality, social justice and inclusivity.
IRISE has developed its existing programming to include a variety of opportunities for students, faculty and the community to engage in research and advocacy projects related to inequality including, but not limited to, project grants, workshops, lecture series, course development and community outreach.
We center the voices of historically marginalized communities through our events, blogs and our support of the R.A.G.E Podcast. Check back regularly to learn what is happening on campus and with our community partners.
The impact of IRISE is felt across campus and throughout the Denver Metro Area. Much of our work is highlighted in recent publications, media appearances, videos and our annual report.
